WebAug 12, 2005 · The problem was that I was going to be using 4-5 foot hooklengths for floater fishing and wanted to pre tie hairs without having to transport them on the long hooklengths. I have been tying a normal knotless then trapping the end down the shank with shrink tube as beanz suggested. Then using a palomar knot to tie on the eyed hook. Thx for replies.
