WebTL;DR: Booked grab hitch for my bf using my phone. The driver called prior to the ride and mentioned he had to cancel the booking AFTER my bf enter his car because his “grabpay function was broken”. So bf have to pay thru cash instead once arrived at destination. WebMay 1, 2024 · I tried to drive Grab Hitch a bit initially about 2 years ago as it was a novel concept and technology to me. After several trips I stopped as it was rather time consuming to detour and the trip fee could not justify the additional time, petrol and maintenance. At current petrol price, it is even more not worth the hassle.
