WebAug 28, 2006 · Communication deferred just means that either BOINC tried to contact the project server and it couldn't, or that it had contact but was asked by the server to hold off communications for a while. Be it because there is no work for your platform, or because you just had contact with the server. It's not a bad message. WebDec 21, 2006 · BOINC will manage the work. The messages will tell you if it is actually requesting work from Rosetta and not getting it, or if it is just reporting in to the project periodically. The deferred communication times is also normal.
